EVOLUE was founded with a passionate, relentless spirit to heal the world from toxic skincare and to provide the best ingredients and results to everyone and anyone.

Jean Seo opened the very first eco-chic beauty boutique in 2007. Jean’s Beverly Hills shop stocked the most popular green beauty brands, but her discerning Hollywood celebrity clients weren’t satisfied with results. So Jean researched what makes people age and formulated products with natural moisturizing factors that our body naturally produces but depletes with age.

Jean holds a Masters of Library Science from UCLA. This allows her access to one of the largest libraries and databases in the world that she utilizes to research best ingredients, effectiveness, and innovations in skincare.

Today, Evolue proudly offers two brands: EVOLUE Skincare – an anti-aging skincare brand; and LUE Skincare – an accessible, acne-fighting skincare brand. Both brands provide a highly selective, thoughtfully curated roster of ingredients. Some ingredients are so rare and scarce, they go beyond the requirements of organic certification and are in a class of their own.

Evolue’s mission is simple: Focus on making high performing skincare with the best ingredients. This shows in Jean’s decisions to constantly reinvest in her own lab for latest research and development.
