Tiffany Paige revisits Simply Straws at the Green Festival. It’s been 2 years since their launch. “I was Simply Straws very first interview.” What a fun one it was with Chanelle Sladics, Co-Founder of Simply Staws, Pro-Snowboarder, Environemental Activist, and now friend: http://youtu.be/9QRsdRUqYiQ

Now I’m back talking with Chanelle and what’s new. They have grown and added to their line the new A-Mason Venti & A-Mason Mugs with a hole in the top for their straw…The Amazing A-Mason 🙂

Simply Straws is a reusable glass drinking straw, an alternative to the common plastic straw. It was founded by Chanelle’s mother, Cyndi Sladics, a Dental Hygienist for 33 years. The whole family plays a role in Simply Straws and work to raise awareness of plastic pollution and how 500 million straws are thrown away everyday. They are 1% For The Planet members, which means they donate 1% of their revenue to environmental causes.
Simply Straws are reusable, sustainable, durable, biodegradable and handmade in the USA. Their colors are non-toxic, the materials are bpa free, their sleeves and covers are made from fair-trade, organic hemp, flax, and cotton and all packaging is compostable.

I use mine ALL the time and they make a great gift 🙂
