Enric Sala, a National Geographic Explorer receives a “Board of Director’s Heroes Award” at the Environmental Media Awards. Green With Tiffany caught up with Enric and spoke about his work to save as much of the ocean as possible. His films have inspired country leaders to create some of the largest national parks in the ocean. The Pristine Seas uses research, exporation and media to inspire leaders to do more for the ocean. Enric has seen spectacular sights under water, including giant mata rays dancing around. A lover of the ocean early on, Enric grew up on the Mediterranean coast of Spain and in the summer had to be dragged out of the sea by his mother. Did I mention he’s also a great cook?
