Vitamix at The Green Festival

Vitamix at The Green Festival

September 6, 2013

Tiffany Paige of Green With Tiffany visits the Green Festival in Los Angeles, Calif. and speaks to “John The Juicer” about the Vitamix. Vitamix is the #1 rated blender and is used in over 100,000 commercial restaurants. You’ll find them in most all smoothie shops including places like Jamba Juice, Orange Julius and Emerald City Smoothie. It makes hot soups, sauces, gravies, and salad dressings. You can even make an alternative to ice cream with a nut freeze if you can’t do dairy. It consists of ice and nuts, two things that are usually challenging to blend. The Vitamix gives you a lot of versatility. It’s the slowest blender and the fastest blender. “John The Juicer” talks a little about the mechanics and the durability of the Vitamix. The BPA-free copolyester container is something you buy once and it lasts 30 years. It’s like buying a large appliance like a stove or refrigerator. The Vitamix is an investment for long-term satisfaction.

Vitamix has been around for 91 going on 92 years. It’s a family owned business and made in America. Where does one buy the Vitamix? Well…at the Green Festival or other shows you’ll get additional goodies and giveaways or you can get online at www.vitamix.com. The price ranges from $449-$649. I know that is sticker shock for many, but it is truly an investment appliance. Vitamix knows that everyone wants one, but not everyone can afford one, so recently they have offered at some shows, payment plans. So you can put as little as $100 down, take your Vitamix home, start using it and Vitamix will let you break it up into payments.

Since this video was shot, I now have my own Vitamix and I see what all the fuss is about! It blends ice magically, nuts, vegetables, etc. You name it, it smoothly and evenly blends it all.
The Green Festival is coming up October 19-20, 2013 in Los Angeles. Check www.greenfestivals.org to see if the Vitamix will be displaying there or at a Green Festival in a city near you.
